Welcome to the Black Horse Restaurant, Market Bosworth! We are excited to announce that our festive menus 2023 are launching on Thursday 23rd November. As always, our culinary team has put together an exquisite selection of dishes, using only the finest ingredients. From traditional festive favourites, to modern, world cuisine influenced dishes, our new Christmas menus are sure to delight your taste buds.
Whether you are looking forward to celebrating with family, friends or colleagues, or planning an intimate meal with a loved one in the lead up to Christmas, we are here to ensure you enjoy an unforgettable dining experience.

Festive Menus Launching from 23rd November
We may be fully booked for Christmas Day, but if you are planning a special meet up in the lead up to Christmas, you’ll be excited to find out about our collection of brand new festive menus.
From the 23rd November, our lunch and evening a la carte menus will be given a festive makeover to help encourage your Christmas spirit.
If you are doing lunch with friends, our Christmas platter is the perfect sharing plate to help you and your friends feel festive. Made up of Turkey breast, mini roast potatoes, stuffing, melting brie & cranberry gravy, pigs in blankets, smoked bacon & garlic sprouts, mini camembert and crusty baguette, this sharing platter is Christmas personified!
If you are joining us for an evening meal, why not prepare yourself for your Christmas day celebrations by enjoying a roast turkey crown dinner with cranberry & chestnut stuffing, pigs in blankets and a rich poultry gravy? If you would rather wait until the big day, simply choose from our varied menu of our chef’s creations.
If you are a regular visitor to our Pie & Wine and Pasta & Prosecco evenings, you’ll be delighted to know that they will continue this winter, with a mouthwatering festive twist! As always, our pie and pasta menus are the perfect excuse to be excited for the start of the week. You can rest assured that our winter warming dishes and friendly hospitality will help fight off any winter blues.
We understand that for many people, the best time of the week to get the family together is Sunday, so we are happy to launch our Christmas Sunday Lunch menu from Sunday 26th November. Book now to avoid disappointment!
Christmas Day and Boxing Day in Market Bosworth
If you have decided to leave the cooking to the professionals and have booked in with us this Christmas or Boxing Day, we can’t wait to welcome you!
Our Christmas Day set menu (£140 per person) includes an arrival drink, amuse-bouche, starter, main, dessert and coffee. If our chestnut and thyme stuffed turkey ballotine with mini pigs in blankets and turkey stock jus is not for you, fear not, as we have a selection of other meat, fish and vegetarian dishes available for you to choose to celebrate Christmas in your own way.
For Boxing day, we have also chosen a set menu, which includes a starter, a main course and a dessert for £65 per person.
New Years Day
What are your plans to celebrate the start of 2024? We will be open and ready to welcome you to enjoy some revitalising culinary delights, so if you have enjoyed bringing in the new year on New Years Eve, there is no better choice than to carry on the celebrations with us on the 1st of January.
